CRNC OCTOBER
UPDATE
The College Republican National Committee’s
thoughts and prayers go out to all those across the country who have been
affected by the recent hurricanes in the Gulf Coast. Continued support can be made
through the following organizations: ______________________________________________________________________________ Republican Grassroots Volunteers Storm the
Country: CRNC Launches 2005 Field Program The College Republican National Committee has
launched the 2005 Field Representative Program. With an initial hire of 8 full
time Field Reps, the 2005 Field Program is one of the largest non-election
year Field Programs in CRNC history. The 2005 Field Reps have been extensively trained
and have been deployed. Field
Reps act as full time recruiters, trainers and organizers that build and
assist College Republicans federations and chapters nationwide. By the end of 10 week program the
Field Reps will have covered 40-plus states, started and strengthened
hundreds of chapters, and recruited thousands of new College
Republicans. Additionally, special emphasis will be placed on
the Virginia and News Jersey gubernatorial races. By having Field Reps in Virginia
and New Jersey for 10 weeks leading up to election day the gubernatorial
campaigns will be provided with full time youth coordinators with contacts
and volunteers on college campuses across the state. 2005 marks the 6th consecutive CRNC Field
Program. The Field Program
has seen great success in the past, and has been clearly established as
the principal aim of the CRNC.
In 1999 the CRNC could claim 408 chapters, and through the success
of the Field Program the CRNC has over 1,500 chapters today. _______________________________________________________________________ The CRNC Strikes Al Gore’s
Invention The CRNC has launched an improved website. We
are constantly striving to enhance it, with the goal of making it the
premier site for conservative recruitment. It will be easy to
navigate, eye-catching, and informative when complete. The CRNC is always eager to showcase CRs in action.
Therefore, we are encouraging all members to send us recent pictures of
their CR activities. We will be picking the best ones to post on our
improved website, and the names and chapters of those in the selected
photos will be prominently displayed in the by-line. Please send
your pictures to http://b4.mail.yahoo.com/ym/aysf.org/Compose?To=info@crnc.org. _______________________________________________________________________ Internship Opportunity The WHITE HOUSE is now seeking interns for the 2006 spring and
